In third grade, North Augusta Elementary students learn about the great state of South Carolina. In addition, our third graders are planning and collecting relevant information from primary and secondary sources, drawing reasonable conclusions found during the inquiry process. Reading, writing, communicating, thinking critically, and performing in meaningful, relevant ways within and across disciplines are essential practices for accessing and deeply understanding content.
