Mr. Steven Palmer

Welcome back to school. I am Mr. Palmer, and I am so excited to be the new music teacher at North Augusta Elementary.  I have taught elementary music for 22 years in Sumter, SC, and I am entering my second year in Aiken County Public School District.  This is my second year at NAE!  I have three grown children.  We also have a dog, Duchess, who gets lots of attention at home.  I enjoy spending my free time with my family, playing music, hiking, and fishing.

I have a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Lander University and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. 

This is my 24rd year teaching music, and I enjoy inspiring and challenging my students to reach their full potential. In addition to playing the trumpet, I play a variety of wind, string, and percussion instruments.
