    • Black ink pens/markers: thick and thin. [Micron and/or Sharpie]
    • Colored Pencils [Crayola brand is acceptable. No twistable or erasable pencils permitted. Prismacolor is pricier, but better quality. Rose Art and Crazy Art are NOT permitted.)
    • Ruler

    Recommended:

    • Drawing Pencils (2H -6B) / Tortillon and/or blending stump
    • Colored ink pens and/or markers
    • Apron for use with paint and clay 

Art 2

  • This course is designed for mid-level work with 2D and 3D design. Students will enhance their techniques to creative processes and understand how to use a variety of art materials and mediums, while building off foundational knowledge from Art 1. Students will be given creative prompts and explore ideas related to stab binding, subtractive drawing, acrylic painting, watercolor, pottery, and printmaking. This course is project based, but allows students to explore and develop a personal artistic style.
