Coach James Gore

James Gore is a graduate of South Aiken High School where he competed in both Football and Track and Field. He would later graduate with full Athletic and full Academic Scholarships to the University of South Carolina State. Gore competed in Football as well as Track and Field. After his freshman year, Coach Gore was offered an opportunity to further pursue his Track and Field career at Coastal Carolina University. He would continue on competing in Track and Field as well become a University record holding Power Lifter.
James Gore graduated with a degree in Biology: Microbiology and Genetics and a focus in Exercise Science. He is receiving his Certification through the South Carolina PACE program while currently teaching at North Augusta High School. He plans on continuing his education with obtaining his Master’s degree. Coach Gore accredits much of his leadership and coaching ability to the Palmetto Boys State Program. Coach Gore attended the program in 2009 and has served as a Counselor and Staff member ever since.
